#OutfitPost- Ditto That!

I love mixing prints & colors & you must have by now figured my sense of style which is an amalgamation of experimenting & comfort factor. I have many times tried to go out of my way to try out new trends & styles & my experience so far has been great. One thing that’s most important is that you should know your body type & once you have deciphered that, dress accordingly. I have always been a huge fan of formal dressing & you must have seen in my French Connection post how I created a work & a night party look with the same attire. &&& there is no denying that formals can make for great party wear attires too!

The party season has officially begun & just like everyone, my dancing shoes are on too! December always is a hectic month because of all the weddings in town & the festivities. But no one is complaining, I love this month. December in fact is also the month when I met Vips first, 25th December it was! The two of us besides being super occupied with work are attending birthday parties, weddings & anniversaries. Along side we can’t wait to bring in New Years together so the party planning is in full swing.

While usually weekends is when Vips & I prefer hanging in doors over some good food & wine, the past couple of Saturdays we have only attended two of our really close friend’s wedding & anniversary celebration party. We were invited to Olive, Bandra over brunch & from that very second my brain started to pick my outfit for that day. I didn’t want to step out in the cliched floral day dress so I decided to make a switch.

I opted for this aztec printed skirt & teamed it up with the same print jacket & threw over my all time favorite nude heels that you must have spotted me donning at various occasions. For my hair, I decided to pull it back in a sleek, high ponytail & stayed away from accessorizing. I wanted the outfit to speak for itself & I was certain it was bold enough to make a statement. On my lips I glided away two strokes of my favorite shad of pink lipstick by Bobbi Brown & paid special attention to strobing & contouring! Voila! My look was complete.
